Talk
Duration: 20 min + 5 min questions
The conference will consist mostly out of your talks. Do you have any term paper or thesis you would like to present? You can also showcase work in progress or linguistic topics you’re interested in. Talks should be confined to 20 minutes. Following your talk, the participants will be able to ask questions. Your talk should be supported by a presentation, projectors and computers will be available.
Workshop
Duration: 45 - 60 min (incl. questions)
Besides presenting a talk, you can also give a workshop. In contrast to a talk, you will get 60 minutes of time to introduce a topic of your choice. For example, are there any subbranches of linguistics, a specific theory or method or a language dear to your heart you want to introduce to others? The workshop should have an interactive character. Projector and computer will be available. Please note any special requirements for your workshop in Frab.
Poster
Duration: 30 min
You can also submit a poster. Every poster will be displayed together in a separate poster session. The participants then have the opportunity to view your poster and to engage in conversation with you. You will have to print and transport your poster yourself.
