Keynotes
Traditionally, linguists of the hosting universities will be presenting a keynote. With great pleasure, we can tease the following keynotes, many thanks to the presenters:
Dr. Brigitte Ganswindt (Deutscher Sprachatlas)
Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Rieken (Historisch-vergleichende Sprachwissenschaft)
Dr. Gea De Jong-Lendle (Phonetik/Forensische Linguistik)
Prof. Dr. Thomas Gloning (Digitales Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache/Zentrum für digitale Lexikographie der deutschen Sprache)

BuFaTa
Originally, the StuTS has started out as the BuFaTa (Bundesfachschaftentagung Sprachwissenschaft). The BuFaTa is a common conference of all linguistic student associations in Germany. It concerns itself with current higher education policies, linguistic-specific projects, networking and scholarly exchange. Any questions regarding the BuFaTa should be written to Quentin.
Fun and Games
Naturally, there will be a social programme:
The city of Marburg is especially known for the Deutscher Sprachatlas. There will be some tours through the Sprachatlas, but you will have to register in advance in the registration form.
To get to know each other, we are organising a games night on Thursday evening, which is supported by the Pegasus Spiele board game publishing house.
Friday evening, you can take part in a city tour through Marburg. Listen to the charismatic night watchman or have fun with the idiom tour. Please register in advance. The tour will cost 3,50€ extra per person.
Saturday evening, there will be a typical Marburgian pub crawl. If your interested, please let us know in the registration.
Farewell Brunch
As per the StuTS tradition, you can join on Sunday for the departing brunch. Please register for the brunch in advance, too. You will have to pay for the brunch. We will meet in the central Café am Markt.
